After juggling marriage, children, working in construction, and attending night school for about ten years, I earned a BA in accounting from Loyola University. That’s when I moved out of the field and into an office working for a mechanical construction firm in Chicago. During the day, I handled accounting, estimating, project management, contract administration, and claims analysis, while at night I went back to school for my MBA. In 1992, I became owner of Metropolitan Fire Protection, and finally was able to put all of that experience and education to good use running a successful business.
It’s taken a lot of hard work and a lot of great people to get us where we are today. Customers call me because they trust me to give honest, sound advice and deliver what I promise. They know I understand that the most important thing is protecting customers’ relationships with their clients and making sure they meet their schedules and occupancy dates. We do everything we can to come through for our customers. We put the best people on the job and put in extra effort when it’s needed. To me, a perfect job is when we go in, get it done, and get it done on time and on budget.
